Well, we had our ultrasound yesterday... I had to drink a ton of fluids before my appt, and by the time I went in to the room, I had to "GO"!!! But, the first part of he ultrasound had to be done with a full bladder, so I had to wait patiently (with my legs crossed tightly, LOL!). So, anyway, I guess I'll quit delaying this and just tell you that we're having a... boy! I never really had a "feeling" about what the baby was; it seemed to go back and forth, I guess. My Airman said that meant we were having twins.
I told him he wasn't allowed to say that word around me! :o)
I would post a picture, but we were only given one, we don't have a scanner, and the man who did the ultrasound gave us a picture of... the baby's heart. Yes, you read that right. A close-up of the heart. Not a foot, face, or fist... the heart. Don't get me wrong; I'm extremely happy our baby's got a healthy looking heart. It's just... well, I think we'd like something a little more interesting to look at than the 4 arteries/cavities that make up the heart. There were some other things about the technician's bedside manner that we didn't enjoy or appreciate, but oh well. I'm glad I won't have to go see that guy again!
I just noticed that this is my 100th post (though, technically I "cheated" since I relocated some of my posts from my old blog onto here). I'm glad I was able to post something interesting for you! (well, maybe it's not interesting for you -- Hey! Look, Rachel! You are not the only one who loves to use parenthesis and exclamation points!!!) :P
