All right, Ladies: You convinced me!

After My Airman went in to work yesterday, Little Man and I took a trip down to our local jeweler's and dropped off the ring to be engraved. It is scheduled to be done just in time for my honey's birthday, so I'm very excited!

The hardest part now will be keeping my mouth shut! Free Smileys & Emoticons at Clipart of.com

Hi Arlene! I think that is the sweetest idea!! He will just love it.

I am with you on the excitment over gift giving. I bought a Wii for my son 2 months ago for his b-day and it's not till the 19th of this month. I am just dying to give it to him. I think that is because I want to play it so bad, lol :)

Have a great weekend :)

Aww....I think that's really sweet. =) Which Bible verse did you end up picking?

Hey, Ro!
I ended up going with the one from Song of Solomon. The jeweler could only fit a certain amount of letters/spaces on the ring, so I chose that one since the other one wouldn't fit, lol! Of course, now that I've turned it in, I keep thinking of other verses I could have used... oh, well! He better like it is all I can say! :P

Oh, and yes, I nearly killed Nathan myself when I found out it was lost... with SGLI, I could have gotten $400,000 you know. But, I talked myself out of it. ;o)

My husband lost his first wedding ring too. He took it off in a restaurant bathroom, and we never saw it again. Thankfully, we had bought it used, and it had only been like $40 or $60. ;) (Hey -- we were 19 & 20 when we got married.)

He didn't have a ring for years, and finally, I went and bought him a very cool (plain) stainless steel band. He loved it, since he is an engineer and works with metals.

Love that you got it engraved! Eric's original ring was engraved, I suppose it would have been nice if I would have engraved this one.
