Trust His Heart

I've had this song stuck in my head for a few days and thought I would share it with you all. It is a beautiful song; hope you will enjoy it! Perhaps it will be a blessing to someone who needs to hear it. :)

Trust His Heart
Babbie Mason & Eddie Carswell

All things work for our good
though sometimes we can’t see how they could.
Struggles that break our hearts in two
sometimes blind us to the truth.
Our Father knows what’s best for us;
His ways are not our own.
So, when your pathway grows dim,
and you just can’t see Him,
Remember, you're still not alone.

God is too wise to be mistaken.
God is too good to be unkind.
So when you don’t understand,
When you don’t see His plan,
When you can’t trace His hand, trust His heart.

He sees the Master plan.
He holds the future in His hands.
So don’t live as those who have no hope.
All our hope is found in Him.
We see the present things,
but He sees the first and the last.
And like a tapestry, He’s weaving you and me
to someday be just like Him.

God is too wise to be mistaken.
God is too good to be unkind.
So when you don’t understand,
when you don’t see His plan,
When you can’t trace His hand, trust His heart.

He alone is faithful and true.
He alone has promises for you.

God is too wise to be mistaken.
God is too good to be unkind.
So when you don’t understand,
when you don’t see His plan,
When you can’t trace His hand, trust His heart.

So when you don't understand,
when you don't see His plan,
When you can't trace His hand, trust His heart.

Hmm, this never came up in google reader. I can't listen to the song right now, too, because Brandon is asleep!!

A lady in our church has sung this twice in the last two weeks; once for special meetings with all the pastors in WI, and once for church. And here it is again. :) I wasn't able to play it for her because the arrangement that she had is so syncopated so she had to sing it acapella. I couldn't even make it work. I would have had to rewrite the entire arrangement. I wish I could get my hands on this one!

I know what you mean, Sherri! I had to do A LOT of searching to find an acceptable version to post on my blog! I had never even known it was a contemporary style of song because I've only ever heard it in an IFB setting, lol. If I ever find a good arrangement on sheet music, I'll let you know. :o)

Thanks, Arlene! I would appreciate that. Although, I know, it's a big "IF". =)
