Never thought I'd hear that

I mentioned before that my honey is going hunting this year. In keeping with that, we have been buying quite a bit of hunting paraphernalia {as a side note, I never really thought about how expensive this pastime can get! Seriously don't even want to talk about how much my honey has had to spend to get all of those little things on top of the license. Plus, since he hasn't gone hunting in over 6 years, he had to take his gun in to get some parts replaced... suffice it to say, things add up quickly!}.

Anyway, yesterday our airman popped in from work just for a minute to pick up his rifle to take it to the gunsmith. Of course, he had a "little shadow" following him around the house as he gathered things up. After a few minutes of watching Daddy with his rifle, a very wide-eyed little boy asked, "Who you goin' kill, Daddy?"

Needless to say, it was very hard to keep a straight face with that question! We managed to very calmly explain to him that we don't shoot people or kill anyone, but sometimes we just go hunting for deer and things like that... not quite sure that he "gets it" yet, but hopefully it will sink in sometime soon! The things kids say, huh?! LOL

Hahahaha, how cute!!!

We're trying to teach Kyle that we don't shoot or kill people either. It's hard when his other friends are pretending to shoot and kill bad guys/zombies/whatever! *rolls eyes*

Kids really do say the funniest things!
