I know I will appreciate all of the work I put into the food once the baby is here... my only concern is that we will be PCSing right before (or possibly after, depending on our fly-out date) the baby is born... leaving me little time to get food ready and frozen. I guess I will have to work double-time once we move. Such is the life of a military life, right? :)Arlenehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02616597859669901083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31229378.post-1153839024505715812006-07-25T09:50:00.000-05:002006-07-25T09:50:00.000-05:00I had to same issue with way too many leftovers wh...I had to same issue with way too many leftovers when it was just my husband and I. Now I often double or triple some of my recipes and freeze the rest in for future meals.

You'll *really* appreciate all those frozen meals when the baby arrives!Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08691765466320690473noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31229378.post-1153796280584851472006-07-24T21:58:00.000-05:002006-07-24T21:58:00.000-05:00P.S. I bet we have a lot in common! :P It is nice to meet you; I'm sure you'll be hearing a lot from me, as I've just visited your blog, as well :~)Arlenehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02616597859669901083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31229378.post-1153792975579592222006-07-24T21:02:00.000-05:002006-07-24T21:02:00.000-05:00Hi! I enjoyed reading your profile and thought I'd give your blog a try.

I've heard of the once a month cooking, but have never tried it. I was married to an AF man and we were in Germany where our first child was born. Our refrigerator was shorter than I was (I'm 5'2") and had barely enough room for ice trays and a 1/2 gallon of ice cream so cooking that much was out of the question. LOL BUT! We did move to better housing and had a REAL refrigerator....still didn't cook all at once though. :) Now that I have three children the idea is much more appealing. Thanks for bringing it up.

~KristiKristihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10408986161900668410noreply@blogger.com
